3) LAX Parking – Valet

With valet parking at LAX, you can drop your car off curbside at your destination terminal. LAX Parking Curb Express is one of the most popular LAX valet companies. A valet attendant from Curb Express rides with you in your vehicle to your destination terminal, drops you off, and drives your car back to the Curb Express facility. When you arrive back at LAX, your car is waiting for you at your arrival terminal.

LAX Valet Parking Rates:

LAX Curb Express

– Short-term parking: Indoor is $23.95/day +10% city tax | Outdoor is $19.95/day + 10% city tax

– Long-term parking: Indoor is $160/week + 10% city tax | Outdoor is $130/week + 10% tax

Benefits of LAX Valet Parking:

– LAX valet parking is very convenient

– Your car is parked in a secure facility during your trip, and you can choose between a covered or uncovered facility

– A lot of valets offer short-term parking rates (daily) and long-term parking rates (weekly)

Things to Consider About LAX Valet Parking:

IMPORTANT: You need to pick up the valet attendant at their facility on your way to the airport. This may add time to your trip

– Valet parking is generally the most expensive airport parking option

4) Terminal Parking at LAX

LAX offers eight parking structures made up of 8,000 parking spots just outside the terminals. Terminal parking is available for hourly, daily, overnight or extended stays. As one of the most expensive parking options around LAX, terminal parking is in close proximity to the airport.

LAX Central Terminal Parking Rates:

First 15 minutes – free parking

$3 for the first hour

$30 per day

$210 per week

Benefits of LAX Terminal Parking:

– Before you arrive at the LAX Central Terminal, you can check the dashboard provided by LAX, which shows you directions and real-time parking availability for each parking structure

– LAX terminal parking is very close to the airport and offers covered facilities, so you won’t have to worry about weather damage to your vehicle

Things to Consider About LAX Terminal Parking:

– If you drive a larger vehicle, terminal parking might not be your best option. Parking structures 2B and 5 have a maximum vehicle height restriction of 7 feet, and parking structures 1, 2A, 3, 4, 6 and 7 have maximum vehicle height restriction of 8 feet, 2 inches

– You have to pull a parking ticket at the gate. It’s very important to hold on to that ticket–lost tickets result in a $30 fee, on top of the price of parking

– LAX terminal parking doesn’t offer airport parking reservations so it’s important to view the real-time availability dashboard. Spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis

5) LAX Economy Parking – Economy Lot C

LAX’s Economy Lot C is on airport property but is further away than terminal parking–and this is reflected in the parking rates (see below). If you’ll be parking at LAX on a budget, Economy Lot C is the most affordable of the on-airport options discussed above. However, airport parking reservations are not allowed at Economy Lot C.

LAX Economy Lot C Parking Rates:

$4 per hour

$12 per day

No monthly parking rates

LAX Economy Lot C Benefits:

– Economy Lot C is LAX’s cheapest on-airport parking option

– Free LAX parking shuttles are available 24/7

– Vehicles may be parked in Lot C for 30 consecutive days per visit

Things to Consider About Parking at LAX Economy Lot C:

– As mentioned earlier, airport parking reservations are not allowed in Lot C. LAX parking in Lot C is only available on a first-come, first-served basis. During holidays and peak travel times in the year, spaces fill to capacity

– Busy periods may also impact the availability and wait times for the free shuttle to LAX

– Spaces at LAX’s Lot C are uncovered, so keep that in mind if you don’t want your car exposed to the elements

– As of Jan. 23, 2017, the pickup and drop-off location for Lot C has moved to the Upper Level only

– Economy Lot C does not allow parking for large trucks, trailers, RVs, or campers
