Opened in 1912, Fenway Park is one of baseball’s historic landmarks. It has the 2nd smallest capacity. It’s the second most expensive in MLB. This year, the Boston Red Sox are ready to rebound after finish last in the AL East in 2014. To keep the most green in your wallet, here are four ways to get monster savings on game day at Fenway Park.
1. Pick the Right Date – Sox Savers Days
Red Sox tickets ain’t cheap. Because of Fenway’s low capacity, tickets can be hard to get. Like most teams, the Red Sox use a tiered pricing model. There are five different pricing tiers, including Sox Savers. You’ll save $10-$70 off Tier 1 tickets. Sox Savers are available on the following dates.

2. Take a Walk & Save on Parking
Parking is at a premium near Fenway Park. Most fans will tell you to take the “T”. If you drive, expect a 15-minute walk from an affordable lot. Closer lots to Fenway will run you $50-$60. Thanks, but no thanks, right? There’s an official Red Sox lot at 100 Clarendon Garage. Parking is only $10! But with only 2,000 spots available, these go fast. 4. Grab Your Grub
El Pelón Taquería is a local favorite for pregame food. Grab the fish tacos and a Coke for under $10. Check out Tasty Burger, where they have 13 awesome burgers for under $6. For students, the “Starvin’ Student” deal is a burger, can of beer, and fries for $10. The Baseball Tavern has a rooftop view of Fenway and cheap appetizers (from $3) and sandwiches (from $7).
