Book of Mormon in Chicago Adds More Tickets!

If you’ve been living under a rock for the past half year or so maybe you havent heard the news; The Book of Mormon is a hot ticket. So hot in fact that it is “sold out” until April. But wait, there is hope! Recently, the Bank of America Theater has added another show every week on Sunday nights starting at 7:30. This runaway hit has also extended its Chicago stay until September 8th, but don’t wait on these tickets, they are flying off the Book of Mormon shelves! The Bank of America Theater knows these shows are in high demand, so continue to read on for more tips on how to score some tix before the show leaves town.

Day of Show Drawing

Every show the theater raffles off the first two rows for just $25 a ticket! This is by far the coolest and cheapest way to see BOM. The way it works: You enter you name into a hat, and two hours before the show they draw the names. If your name is called you get a chance to purchase tickets in the first two rows for just $25! You can enter your name during box office hours that day, and must be present to win. Click for more details on the drawing.

Weekday Shows

Everyone and their mom wants to see the show on a weekend, so try finding tickets to middle of the week shows. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the best option. Also, try to stay away from long weekends and holiday periods. Ticket prices can jump, and you can get stuck with some bad seats.

Early Bird Gets the BOM Tickets

The Bank of America Theater has said that shows with available tickets begin on June 4th. So what are you waiting for? Book your ticket now for that random Thursday in late June. Do you really have something planed already? I think not. Here is a schedule of the performances.

Use your American Express Card

Ok, so i’m not trying to sound like a salesman…but there are deals for those who purchase tickets with their AMEX card. According to the Bank of America Theater those who use their AMEX card when purchasing, get preferred seating! Not sure what that means exactly, but it sounds exclusive!
