3) LAX Parking – Valet

With valet parking at LAX, you can drop your car off curbside at your destination terminal. LAX Parking Curb Express is one of the most popular LAX valet companies. A valet attendant from Curb Express rides with you in your vehicle to your destination terminal, drops you off, and drives your car back to the Curb Express facility. When you arrive back at LAX, your car is waiting for you at your arrival terminal

Long-Term Parking$251.65/week + 10% city taxOutdoor is $230.65/week + 10% tax

IMPORTANT: You need to pick up the valet attendant at their facility on your way to the airport. This may add time to your trip

4) Terminal Parking at LAX

The CTA has about 7,000 parking spots at 8 parking garages (P-1, P-2, P-2B, P-3, P-4, P-5, P-6, P-7). This is a good option for trips up to 30 days. Terminal parking is available for hourly, daily, overnight, or extended stays. As one of the most expensive parking options around LAX, terminal parking is in close proximity to the airport.

Before you arrive at the LAX Central Terminal, you can check the dashboard provided by LAX, which shows you directions and real-time parking availability for each parking structure.

Note: Economy Lot E is closed until further notice due to the impact of COVID-19.

LAX Central Terminal Parking Rates:

Time RangeRate
First 15 minutesFree
First hour$3
Every 30 Minutes after the first hour$4
Daily Max$40

*Fees include 10% Los Angeles City Parking Occupancy Tax

If you drive a larger vehicle, terminal parking might not be your best option. Parking structures 2B and 5 have a maximum vehicle height restriction of 7 feet, and parking structures 1, 2A, 3, 4, 6, and 7 have a maximum vehicle height restriction of 8 feet, 2 inches.

Here, you have to pull a parking ticket at the gate. It’s very important to hold on to that ticket–lost tickets result in a $40 fee, on top of the price of parking

LAX terminal parking doesn’t offer airport parking reservations yet, so it’s important to view the real-time availability dashboard. Spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis
