New Year’s Eve is fast approaching! If you’re one of the estimated one million people going to Times Square for the celebrations this year, here is everything you need to know about parking for the festivities.
\Street Parking
Street parking is available for a fee near Times Square. Keep in mind that it is limited and in very high demand, particularly during busy holiday events. If you are looking to park on the street, pay close attention to posted signs, and allow extra time due to increased traffic and area road closures! Public Transportation to Times Square
If driving isn’t your thing, or you would prefer to park farther away from the hustle and bustle, Times Square is a major hub for multiple subway lines, and is easily accessible by public transit. Visitors can take the A, C, & E, train lines to the 42nd St. Port Authority (8th Avenue) stop, and the N, Q, R, 1, 2, 3, 7, & S lines to the 42nd St., Times Square stop.
For those traveling by bus, the M20, M16, M104, & M7 all stop at Times Square.
