After a long, cold winter, Chicago residents are ready to have some fun in the sun. The Oak Street Beach is located between the River North and Gold Coast neighborhoods at the tip of Michigan Avenue, making it a perfect location for those who live or visit downtown.
Oak Street Beach is open every day from 6 am – 11 pm. If you plan on driving to Oak Street Beach, make sure you reserve a parking spot before heading out. Oak Streets’ location and proximity to the lakefront trail will be sure to draw large crowds. Spend more time in the sand and less time circling for a parking spot!
