Super Bowl Parking: A Fans Guide

With four teams remaining, and Super Bowl 47 less than three weeks away, now is a great time to be finalizing your plans for the big day. If you are one of the lucky ones who will be making the trip to New Orleans this year, this one is for you. SpotHero is bringing you our official Super Bowl 47 parking guide for fans. We’ve searched though the thick and thin to make your experience as hassle free as possible. Enjoy, and may your day be spent cheering on your favorite team, and not circling for a parking spot.

Super Bowl Week Parking:

Of course, it’s not a proper Super Bowl without some pre-game festivities during the week. Most of the crowds are in town just to enjoye these, and in a town like New Orleans there will be plenty of pre-event festivities to go around. Most of the events taking place during the week will be located near the downtown area. Check out the events map to get a better understanding of where each event will take place.

Downtown parking in New Orleans is usually a bit easier than most cities, but because of the huge crowds expected for Super Bowl week, plan for the worst. A few good parking companies to help you on your parking search are Central Parking, and Best Parking. Both options allow you to search and reserve parking in the downtown area.

Another good resource for downtown parking specifically for the Super Bowl is the official New Orleans Super Bowl host committee parking page. Here they explain downtown parking, hotel parking, commercial parking, on the street parking and parking meter information.

Here is the link for the Official Parking guide by the NFL. It is a bit confusing, and takes a while to get where you want to go – which is actually finding parking. They do have good information for those who are involved with the Super Bowl directly – event staff and vendors.

The official downtown New Orleans website has a nice layout for parking options. This shows a map where parking lots/garages are and how many spaces are available. Filter by neighborhood options available.

XOOM PARK: Week long single car parking for Super Bowl 47. Multiple options available complete with lot/garage pictures, directions and price. Online purchase available.

Super Bowl Day of Parking:

What looks to be the parking partner of Super Bowl 47 (Click and Park) has a few garages and lot parking available for purchase. You can even print out your conformation, and be ready for game day. The space in the garage or lot of your choice is valid from  2:30pm – 11:00pm local time on game day (Feb 3rd). The price might seem high, but lets not forget this is the Super Bowl. You can visit, call or email Click and Park for more information or questions.
