A Christmas Carol at Ford’s Theatre
Dates: 11/24-12/27
The annual production of A Christmas Carol at Ford’s Theater has been a Washington tradition for 40 years! Don’t miss this year’s performance with Craig Wallace as Ebenezer Scrooge. Runtime is 75 minutes with no intermission.

Downtown Holiday Market
Dates: 11/19-12/23
The Downtown Holiday Market is centered at F St NW between 7th & 9th Sts. NW. Celebrating its twelfth year, the market is one of DC’s most festive shopping areas, featuring 70 regional artisans, crafters and boutiques.

National Christmas Tree Lighting
Date: TBA
The National Christmas Tree Lighting takes place at The Ellipse near the White House. Attendees must request tickets through a lottery. If you were lucky enough to receive tickets, be sure to reserve parking in advance! If not, don’t worry, you won’t miss it, the tree lighting will be broadcast at a later date!

Washington Ballet’s “The Nutcracker”
Dates: 12/1 – 12/24
Enjoy this Christmas classic set in historic 1882 Georgetown with George Washington, King George III and other historical figures making special appearances. Be sure to get tickets early and don’t forget to book your parking!
