Miami City Ballet’s The Nutcracker

Art Basel Miami

Dates: 12/8-10, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

Location: Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Drive

Details: Art lovers rejoice! Art Basel Miami has returned for its 21st year. Explore one of the world’s premiere art shows in this two-day event, with modern exhibitions from over 200 galleries around the world.

Winterfest Boat Parade 

Date: 12/16, 6:30 p.m.

Location: Begins near the 7th Avenue Bridge and ends by E. Commercial Blvd Bridge in Fort Lauderdale. A map of the parade route is available here.

Price: Free to watch! Tickets to Winterfest’s special viewing area are available for a fee here.

Details: A tradition since the 1970s, this parade has become the largest live event in the State of Florida. The Winterfest boat parade is constantly ranked amongst the best parades in the world and gets an estimated one million spectators each year, so be sure to scope out a spot along the parade route early!

Holiday Decor at Deering Estate

Dates: 11/24/23-1/7/24, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Location: 16701 SW 72nd Avenue, Miami

Price: $15 for adults, $7 for children, advance tickets required, buy tickets here.

Details: Every year, Deering Estate decks its halls with Dozens of trees and lavish decorations for a festive treat. This year, the Deering Estate takes visitors back to the glitz and excitement of the 1920s with “A Jazzy Holiday,” styling the house for the holidays like it would have been 100 years ago.
