Details: Formerly known as the Toronto Christmas Market, this outdoor market is an old favorite. Set in the heart of the distillery district, patrons can take in the spectacular 50-foot silver fir tree, listen to live performances, shop, and keep an eye out for Santa and his elves as they spread holiday cheer. While there is a fee to attend the winter village on weekends and in the evening, admission before 4 p.m. is free!
The Santa Claus Parade

Details: This 120-year-old parade is the perfect kickoff to the holiday season. Join Santa and dozens of floats as they travel along the largest Santa Claus Parade in North America. An estimated 750,000 people will attend the parade this year, so be sure to scope out your spot along the parade route in advance!
National Ballet of Canada: “The Nutcracker”

Location: Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, 145 Queen Street West

Details: Experience this Christmas classic with a twist: the ballet has been reimagined to feature two leads, with the first act taking place outside in a snowy barn to showcase the wonders of the winter season.
Holiday Fair in Philips Square
Dates: 12/6-12/23, Tuesday-Thursday 4-9 p.m., Friday-Saturday 12-10 p.m., Sunday 12-9 p.m. Closed Mondays except 12/23, when it will be open 12-7 p.m.
